Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services Names LeTonda M. Thompson Human Resources Director
DAYTON, OHIO – Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services (CBC/CTS), recently announced the promotion of LeTonda M. Thompson to human resources director. Thompson manages the overall human resources programs for CBC/CTS’ national workforce. In addition, she oversees the human resources staff which handles recruitment and selection, diversity management, leadership development, employee relations and communications, compensation and benefits and privacy management.
“Employees are one of our organizations most valuable resources, and we are pleased to have someone as experienced and knowledgeable as Ms. Thompson in this position. Her strong leadership and training skills are invaluable to CBC/CTS”, states Dr. David Smith, CEO of CBC/CTS.
Thompson earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Welfare followed by her Juris Doctor Law Degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus. She also has a certification in training and staff development from Wilmington College in Dover, Delaware and is a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She has over eight years of human resources experience. Before joining CBC/CTS, she was a senior legal research analyst at Lexis Nexis.

Community Tissue Services serves the public through recovery, processing and distribution of human tissue donations used for transplantation.
